- Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state. We lose internet when it storms, lost it again last night. Dry forecast for like 3 or 4 days now, what WILL I do?? LOL

Those are pink dogwoods, I'm not sure if I've seen any redbud trees on the west coast.

Yep, dogwoods but so far no hummingbirds have been sighted. They should be arriving soon.
