- Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state. How unusual. This is a great photo.
Once again, very beautiful! I pray that one day I may become just as good of a photographer!
Reminds me of some great trees I saw at the lighthouse in St Augustine... The branches trailed just above the ground for quite a ways. I prefer trees with character to those that just grow straight up. Nice job.

They do have a similiar appearance to the trees around St. Augustine. I know there are lots of cyprus trees down there. I am going to have to find out what these are.
