- Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state. Isn't life grand? Nice pics. We've got some wildlife around our house (mostly frogs & rabbits), but we live so close to the farm we get to see our share of animals. Sometimes it's the not so nice wildlife that we get to see up close - just today there was a brown recluse on the office wall. Now, I 've got the creepy crawlies.

Great pictures as always. I made a new friend today, actually I thought it was a dead frog in the yard pond, he was very much alive and did not want to be removed from said yard pond. I put a rock in there on the shelf just in case he wanted to get out he had a place to jump from.
Your pictures are always so beautiful. You definitely deserve Best Photography Award.

Thanks. I don't mind spiders and other creeepy crawlies as long as they are outside. A brown recluse in the house is really bad.
