It's Thursday and time for Alphabe-Thursday. Mrs. Jenny Matlock, our teacher, has given us the letter J for this week's assignment.
And of course J is for Judy! That's Me!
Be sure to visit Mrs. Matlock and all the other students at Alphabe-Thursday.

When you are describing,
A shape, or sound, or tint;
Don't state the matter plainly,
But put it in a hint;
And learn to
look at all things,
With a sort of mental squint.

Ahhhh...so THAT'S what a jonquil is! I had heard the name before but never knew. Thanks for that bit of info and for the lovely pictures!
Judy fab pics as always! Love the jagged rocks. The scene behind it is lovely!
My very favorite is the johnny jump-up. It is just scrumptious, maybe my favorite of ALL your flower pictures!!! The little squirrel's smile does seem a bit sardonic, doesn't it? If he could talk, I bet he would be sarcastic.
Hi Judy, beautiful pictures......
What a lovely set of J's. The jelly beans looked so bright and the jonquils are beautiful.
I love your blog! It is always so much fun! Thank you!
Love all your choices for J today! The jelly beans are making my mouth water. And that is the fattest, cutest little squirrel, what a great little face. Fantastic photo! Kathy
Thanks for sharing such great pictures. I have to cover the screen so Ladybug does not see the jumping squirrel because I am afraid she would jump at it! I think she chases them in her mind while looking out the window.
Great photos. Nice J ideas.
I didn't know squirrels could smile! (Or does he have gas?)
Oh, I forgot that violas are also called Johnny Jump Ups! I love them, so pretty. Lovely J post :) .
Blessings,
Catherine :)

Beautiful photos. And cute squirrels.
Lovely photographs. My favorite is the jutting rocks, but it wasn't the rocks I was looking at, it was the sky. The hues you captured are just gorgeous. Hi, it's the new girl in class, pleased to meet you :-)
Agh! I am soooo late! I saw your comment on Amanda's "J" post about being late, so instead of catching up through the link list, I thought I'd hop over here first...
