Okay. See, this is how wierd i am. The yellow daff is nice, but i get lost in the varying shades of green of foliage. Lovely photo, no matter what part one enjoys! Hope you had a great weekend!
This one looks so bold and the white one looked as delicate as an orchid. Beautiful shots.
I am having trouble again... this time it's leaving comments on a couple of blogs. Yours is one. I can't always get the comment box to come up. The window opens but it's blank. Will my life ever be easy? LOL

What's That?
I don't know but . . .
did you see that?
When you are describing,
A shape, or sound, or tint;
Don't state the matter plainly,
But put it in a hint;
And learn to
look at all things,
With a sort of mental squint.

Grew up in a small Georgia town with a desire to see some of the places I had read about and many I had not. I moved to Alaska and lived there for about ten years. My jobs took me to many parts of the state including Barrow, Nome, Kodiak Island and many more. I have also lived in California, Oregon and now Washington state.
Let this be the story of the journey so far.
The past is a nice place to visit, but I don't want to live there.
The past is a fun place to visit, but today is where I am now.
The past is a interesting place to visit, But tomorrow will bring new memories.

It Couldn't Be Done
Somebody said that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That "maybe it couldn’t," but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
Somebody scoffed: "Oh, you’ll never do that; At least no one ever has done it;" But he took off his coat and he took off his hat And the first thing we knew he’d begun it.
With a lift of his chin and a bit of a grin, Without any doubting or quiddit, He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it.
There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done, There are thousands to prophesy failure, There are thousands to point out to you one by one, The dangers that wait to assail you.
But just buckle in with a bit of a grin, Just take off your coat and go to it; Just start in to sing as you tackle the thing That "cannot be done," and you’ll do it.

My Fairy
My fairy is called Tangle Saturnshimmer
She is a trouble maker.
She lives at the bottom of tangled gardens and in hedgerows.
She is only seen when the first flowers begin to blossom.
She wears tangled dresses of multicoloured petals. She has delicate pale pink wings like a cicada.
My my, hey hey
Rock and roll is here to stay
It's better to burn out
Than to fade away
My my, hey hey.
Hey hey, my my
Rock and roll can never die
There's more to the picture
Than meets the eye.
Hey hey, my my.

I just love seeing daffodils in gardens as I walk about in my neighborhood and elsewhere! They are such happy flowers...
It is that time of year! I am so glad there are daffodils around, even though they are in the stores! The ones in the garden are only 3 inches high!
I love the yellow of daffodils. There is nothing quite as cheery.
