I do remember the song. And 'little green apples' figured in one of my mother's favorite sayings. Our tiny tree has a ways to go until it produces any for us.

I do remember the song. I also remember how nice and tart the green apples were right off our tree...

You got the light just right on this one! Yes, I do remember "God didn't make little green apples". But he did! So I need to remember the rest of the lyrics to make any sense of it!

I'm weird. I think I have mentioned this before. I never have "gotten" the "it don't rain" songs.
It don't rain in Indianapolis in the summer time.
It never rains in California.

They sure do stick in your head though, don't they. Oh, and btw, thanks (not) for getting this song stuck in my noggin.

Great photo! Looks like mine do. Touch of fire blight. I already lost one apple and fear for the second (and last) one. Sigh.

Well, that's enough babbling for now.

In the summertime when the weather's high,
you can stretch right up and touch the sky,
when the weather's fine,
you got women, you got women on your mind.
Have a drink, have a drive,
go out and see what you can find.

Looks like your apple is SICK! We have so many apples this year I can't believe how many are falling off the trees already! My poor back. ha

I have not heard of that song yet but I will try to google it and perhaps search in you tube. Nice photo... great depth of field.

At my mum's in MA. the apples are already red! I love apple season. It's been so beastly hot this summer that I am eagerly anticipating autumn.
