Slow down, you move too fast.

You got to make the morning last.
Just kicking down the cobble stones.
Looking for fun and feelin' groovy.

Ba da, Ba da, Ba da, Ba da...Feelin' Groovy.

Hello lamp-post,
What cha knowin'?
I've come to watch your flowers growin'.
Ain't cha got no rhymes for me?
Doot-in' doo-doo,
Feelin' groovy.

I've got no deeds to do,
No promises to keep.
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep.
Let the morning time drop all it's petals on me.
Life, I love you,
All is groovy.

The 59th Street Bridge Song

Feelin' Groovy here. I want to walk down that street. Feels like I've been there, but can't quite place it. Oh my, and the flower...

I love everything S & G, together and apart! Fav would be perhaps The Boxer. And what perfect, delightful photos to go with the song. A breath of fresh air!

I had a hard time reading the post becuase i kept going back to smile at those squirrels. how cool is that???? love that sidebar. I used to need to slow down, now I am to slow. i stop and look at everything I see, that is the plus side of being retired. i don't have to hurry anymore.

Fantastic song choice, hadn't hummed that tune in a long time, and it's a warm-fuzzy feeling, so thank you VERY much! Your photos are super and seriously feel 'sloooooowed down' and beautiful. That bee is dappled and drowsy, with the petal right by him like a pillow.

All is groovy. Again, thanks.

Love the photos for that song and the hanging baskets are amazing! (So is the cleanliness that seems to be in all your sidewalk shots-WOW!).

I hope you are having a good week!

Such a peaceful looking street. I like the small town look. I think I want to move to one of our towns here that looks like that.
