I saw this painting at our local farmers' market last weekend.

When you are describing,
A shape, or sound, or tint;
Don't state the matter plainly,
But put it in a hint;
And learn to
look at all things,
With a sort of mental squint.

That is a beautiful painting, and I like the quote too..My lawn mower is not broke, but at the moment, I'd like to think it is :-)
The picture says it all. I love the colors. And I love the quote, especially the part about the lawn mower!
Hi Judy what a beautiful picture...

That would really brighten up a wall in the house.
How pretty.
with this on the wall it could be summer any time at all. our local Golden Corral has some of the most beautiful paintings of chairs like this, very large ones, 5 x 8 foot canvas. the whole place has local artist renderings so anything beach related. it is on the main road to one of our local beaches.
That is a really nice oil painting! Makes me want to grab a nice glass of wine and have a seat! Thanks for linking up!
My husband would definitely agree with the broken lawn mower part!
Did you buy it? Really pretty colors!
