Sissi Cat

Hello everybody, for those who don't know who I am .....

Wait, Mommy do you mean these hoomans don't know who I am? How can that be?
Okay Mommy.

My name is Sissi Cat, I'm one of the Kitty Krew. Mommy said I could introduce this week's Camera Critters.

Mommy also let me pick out the pictures. Guess what? I'm going to show you some of our baby pictures.

When we were little we thought everything was really scary. We didn't know what anything was so we stayed real close to our kitty mommy.

As we got a little bit older we started to get curious but we were still scared of things......like hoomans and squirrels. (Mommy says to tell you that when she saw this photo she noticed our little eyes were kind of red. When we let her get a little closer she saw how red and watery our eyes were. We also sneezed a lot back then. It was our hooman mommy that gave us me-di-cine to make us feel better.) That's me on the right.

That's enough of that, now let me show you the important baby photo. This is me, Sissi Cat, when I was a baby. Don't you think I am sooooo cute?

I'm almost seven months old, I'm a big girl now!

Mommy, I'll bet these hoomans will remember me next time!

Okay Mommy.

Thank you for coming and please visit Camera Critters.

Meow!

Note: The kittens are still very wild, they will come to me but if anyone else comes around they run and hide.

Love

Love, love will keep us together

Think of me babe whenever
Some sweet talking girl comes along singing her song
Don't mess around,
You gotta be strong

Just Stop [stop], 'cause I really love You
Stop [stop], I'll be thinking of you

Look in my heart and let love keep us together

For more music fun visit Hootin' Anni's Thursday Theme Song. And be sure to visit Clytie's Guest Heart Thursday.

The critters in the photos above, starting at the top, are Mandarin ducks, American Wigeon and Coscoroba swans.

Little Signs

The tulips in my yard are in bloom.

Even the English Daisy that I did not expect to survive the winter is beginning to show signs of life.

The ground cover flowers are really taking off. Spring has arrived.

'Twas Easter-Sunday. The full-blossomed trees
Filled all the air with fragrance and with joy.

Welcome to My Day

Welcome to my morning

Welcome to my day

I'm the one responsible
I made it just this way
To make myself some pictures
See what they might bring
I think I made it perfectly
I wouldn't change a thing

Welcome to my happiness
You know it makes me smile
And it pleases me to have you here
For just a little while

With Earth Day approaching a John Denver song just seems so right.

For more photos please visit Freda's ThisWay/ThursWay, Hootin' Anni's Thursday Theme Song and Clytie's Guest Heart Thursday (Look close in the two middle photos). Also please visit SkyWatch Friday.

Mother Nature's Children

Born a poor young country boy, Mother Nature's son
All day long I'm sitting singing songs for everyone

Sit beside a mountain stream, see her waters rise
Listen to the pretty sound of music as she flies

Find me in my field of grass, Mother Nature's son
Swaying daises sing a lazy song beneath the sun

Mother Nature's Son
(Lennon/McCartney)

Next week is Earth Week, don't forget to thank your Mother!

Thursday means it's time for Freda's ThisWay/ThursWay and Hootin' Anni's Thursday Theme Song.

A Purrfect Day

Finally the rain stopped and the sun came out. It is going to be a beautiful day!

The cats are napping in the warm sun's rays. (We could take a nap Mommy if you and the flashy beast would go away.)

The squirrels are scampering happily and looking for a nibble or two. (Not to worry, the cats and squirrels are in different yards)

Now it's time for me to grab a Hot Beverage and enjoy my day.

For more photos visit Freda's Photo Time and Camera Critters.

A class from one of our local schools is doing a fund raiser to help save our Pioneer Park Aviary. They are using a collage of my photos as part of the promotion. You can see the photos at Pioneer Middle School HERE.

Happy Weekend!

A-you gonna give-a your love to me

My love, a-bigger than the Cadillac
I try to show it 'n you drive-a me back
Your love for me, it got to be real
A-for you to know a-just how I feel
A love for real, not fade away

I'm-a gonna tell you how it's gonna be
A-you're gonna give-a your love to me
A love to last-a more than one day
A lover's love and not fade away
(Ooo-bop, wop-bop-bop)

Signs of Spring

How do you tell if it is Spring?

Blooming flowers of course! But there is one sure way that never fails.

It seems to shoot up over night. One day your lawn doesn't look at that bad but the next morning it's half way to your knees. OH NO! Spring has arrived!

We had a beautiful sunny day so I spent the entire afternoon (it is a very large yard) mowing the lawn.

Please take a few minutes and visit Photo Time and Today's Flowers.
