Faux Kitten Cam

Hey hooman, are you out there?
(photos straight from the camera, taken in poor light) They are from the spay/neuter event we did on Wednesday.

We heard we were going to some place called Foster.

Will there be more of those yummy goodies we had a few minutes ago?
From L to R: Lucy, Bunny and Jimmy
These three were too young and little to be spayed/neutered today. They went home with a very nice lady to be fostered until they are older. Then they will be put up for adoption.

Today is Thursday and that means it's time for Hootin' Anni's Thursday Theme Song. I have been at the shelter all day for a spay/neuter event so this post is not my usual musical with lyrics. But I thought maybe a little Elvis would make up for the lack of lyrics.

Not to imply the kitties spend all their time in cages. This fella was in a holding cage while he was checked out to make sure he was healthy and to get all his shots before being put in the cat room. The cats at this shelter have a special area to play in, I'll try to remember to get some photos of it the next time I'm over. It is awesome.

p.s. you put a mouse in Mommies shoe??? Are you kidding me, I would have had to be peeled off of the ceiling.

What a great song and to quote Elvis
"thank you, thank you very much"!

Awww... the little kittens are so precious. My husband loves cats and would have one in the house if my daughter and I weren't so allergic to them. We have a stray one outside that we and the neighbors feed and house. He is letting us get a little closer to him lately.
I think the song went well with the photos. Especially that last one.
Happy Thursday!!

I would take Lucy and Bunny in a minute if I weren't so far away. My husband says no cat until we stop traveling.
Sigh.
I think Lindy would love to have a cat (or two) for company, but we'd probably adopt a senior.
A little bit of Elvis, especially Jailhouse Rock, is enough for me to forgive a multitude of sins, Judy. I remember screaming at the movie when I was a pre-teen.

Awwwwwwwwww, I wish I could take 'em all home with ME!! So sweet, so innocent, so fair.

And Jailhouse Rock...PURRfect, once again. You do great work with the song lyrics. Each and every time.

Sorry, I'm late getting 'round to visiting today...a busy one again for us.

Perfect pics for the Elvis song!! Those sweet kitties in the carrier, so cute, and I love the way the holes make the design on the sides, kind of giving the picture it's own frame
