Guest Meows

Hey Hoomans, Sissi Cat here to introduce you to our special guest for this week. Our mommy met this little guy last week while she was doing a spay/neuter event at the Humane Society. More about them after the guest post.

Take it away little guy.

Peoples? Are you there peoples? My name is Kitten and I want to tell you what happened to me today. Me and Brother met some really nice peoples at a new place.

And guess what happened? Wez gots a bath! First we gots to play in the water stuff and gots all wet.

Did I tell you I'm five weeks old? That makes me a big boy right?

After the bath the lady got this machine thingy that put warm air on us. It tickled my tummy and felt so good.

I watched while the lady put the warm air on Brother.

Hey Lady, do you have any more of that yummy milk stuff?

The lady with that funny looking box (she called it a camera) called us little "blurs of fur" cause we didn't want to be still. We was having too much fun running and exploring.

I is LOVELY!

Yawn! All that bath stuff made me sleepy. I think I'll takes a nap now.
Bye peoples.

These two little guys were found while trapping a large group of stray cats at an old trailer. They were living inside with their mama but the trailer has holes in the floor. They had fallen through the floor and were outside. Our trappers fortunately found them (three other kittens had been found the week before) and brought them to the shelter. Now they are all being fostered by volunteers until they are old enough for adoption. This group of little ones will not have to live on the street.

Please have your pets spayed or neutered and support your local humane society.

Adorable. Is there anything cuter than a kitten? I don't think so. You are a pretty lucky kitty, too! Some nice humans will love you up your whole life. :-)

The Humane Society does such wonderful work. In our town strays are placed in foster homes because we don't have a shelter. Hopefully we get enough funds and donations to have one in the future. - Margy

That guy is so cute!! I have tried to talk husband into getting another cat, but he says we have enough.
Hope they all find loving homes!!!
(And all but two of my cats have come from shelters. The first one was born to the cat under the building when I was at grad school - she had had a broken pelvis and could not birth the kittens, so that was her last batch before she got a forever home. The other one was found up a tree in the middle of the night. How could I go to sleep, with her crying?)
