Our Halloween Faces

Greetings everyone, Clark Kitty here! Mild mannered reporter by day but super crime fighter by night.

Hey, did I fool you? It's really me Spooky. This is my Halloween costume this year. What do you think?

Some of us got a little carried away and went for more makeup and a scarier look.

Sissi Cat is going trick or treating as her evil twin.

Georgia decided she wanted to be like Sissi and dress up as her bad self. It's really hard to hide kitten cuteness behind makeup.

Big Boy ........ well, we aren't sure what he is suppose to be. He just liked the big teeth and funny eyes.

Bandit wanted to dress like a witch so she took this hat away from the squirrel.

And Little Boy wanted to go as a pumpkin. The trouble is there are so many pumpkins in the neighborhood we can't figure out which one he is.

Have a safe and fun Halloween!

Scary Squirrels

Hello everyone, Cindi Lou Who here. As the only truly black cat in our family, and with Halloween so near, I feel it is my responsibility to tell you some truths about squirrels.

Some folks, including our Mom, think squirrels are all cute and cuddly. They think the little varmints are entertaining and would never, ever, do anything evil  FALSE! It's all false. Let me show you some evidence.

I do want to warn you that this is scary stuff. So if you are faint of heart stop now, do NOT scroll down.

My good friends Mistaya and Maggie and their Mom found this newspaper clipping of a squirrel in action. Do people really think it was an accident, that the zombie head was really stuck on the squirrel's head?
NO! The squirrel planned to scare those humans. It was a premeditated fright fest. Thank you Mistaya and Maggie for bringing this terrorist squirrel to light.

Our next piece of evidence is a real shocker. We have uncovered a photo of a squirrel without his "cute" disguise. We can finally show you the true nature of the evil squirrel creatures.

But be warned, this is the stuff of nightmares. Scroll down only if you dare.

Don't say we didn't warn you ,,,,, if you have nightmares it's not our fault.

There you have it folks, that's what those varmints really look like. The next time you see one scampering in the park remember this photo and RUN!

Okay, now I have scared myself and the members of the Kitty Krew. If any of our doggie friends would like to come over and stand guard while we try to get some sleep it would be much appreciated. You can keep all the squirrels you can catch.

PS, if you would like to Frankenweenie-fy your Pet for halloween like the poster above click HERE. We will be showing you our photos tomorrow.

National Cat Day

Spread the word!
Today is National Cat Day.

Of course we think every day should be a kitty holiday.

So grab your toys . . . .

find a soft spot for a nap . . .

or enjoy a sunny spot.

You don't even have to be a cat to have fun today.

PS, the last two photos were taken at the local humane society.

What's Your Name?

Heys everybody! Guess what? I've got a name.

When Squirrel Mama asked you for suggestions for my name there were so many good suggestions that it was really hard to decide. If you missed my story you can read more about me HERE.

We're going to give you some hints with these videos.

That's right, my name is Georgia.
Madi and her Mom said my furs looked as soft as a Georgia peach (they are that soft). Since my Squirrel Mama was born in Georgia the name was perfect.

Thanks everybody!

Georgia
PS, Mama Squirrel said I could share a photo of a kitty she met at the shelter the other day.

Our Life is a Blur

Hello everybody, Sissi Cat here.
Life around our house is never quite normal but lately it's been making me dizzy.

There are new little furry things running around the house, they move like the wind.

Mommy's camera is fast but these little guys are faster.

Plato

and Randall are the newest kittens at our Kitten Kare Facility (the guest bathroom). They are being treated for sneezes and sniffles.

They take their medicine like good boys so hopefully they will be well soon. They will be here for another week or so and then go back to the humane society to be adopted.

This little girl is still with us. She has a new name which we will tell you later this week.

Mommy will be trying to catch up on her visits to your blogs today.

Looking at You

If I put my nosy on the glass can I see those peoples out there?

Sorry kiddo, it doesn't work that way. I've already tried it.

Big Boy here. Mama wants to apologize for not being around much lately. Cats, including all of us, have been keeping her busy. She has a spay/neuter event today, Saturday, and another one on Wednesday. She is hoping to be able to post more and catch up with all of you the end of the week.
